Check this Out- Bullet Journaling

Oh my goodness, here we are at the very last post of 2014!  I’d like to take a minute to thank you guys for reading Paper Beats World.  It means so much to me, I can’t even begin to tell you.  I’ve learned a lot, and I’ve got so much planned for 2015 as we continue to walk the writing road together.

In that spirit, here’s this weeks site to check out.  You might have heard of it before.  Bullet Journaling.

As the site will tell you, it’s for the list makers, the post it note pilots, the track keepers.  Who does that describe more than a writer?

The site is full of cool tips to start your bullet journal, and what a better time to start than today, as we turn the calendar page on a new year?  The best part is, you need nothing but a notebook and pen.  The site uses a graph notebook, but I use lined and it works just the same.  Of course, it’s me, so I also use washi tape and doodle little cartoons of my reactions to the weeks list of things to do, but that’s totally optional.

One thing I do with mine that is not suggested on the site is that I break my weekly to do lists into categories.  Then I list the categories in order of priority.  So, my list will say Family, Writing, Blog, Personal Care then home care.  This way when I’m working through the list, the important stuff gets done first.  (You guys rate above keeping my dishes done, by the way)

So, check out Bullet Journaling.  It’s a great way for us left brained creative types to keep track of everything going on in our very busy lives.

I hope you all have a great, safe and magical night.  I’ll see you all back here next year!
